Munich - 2005

Movie Stats (Source www.IMDB.com):
Director - Steven Spielberg
Rating - R
Release Date - 6 January 2006 (USA)
Tag line - The world was watching in 1972 as 11 Israeli athletes were murdered at the Munich Olympics. This is the story of what happened next.
Munich begins by retelling the horrible events of the 1972 Olympics, and from there follows the nation of Israel's Response to this outburst of violence. The movie was just as dramatic as advertised, with characters that were well developed and experiences that you felt you shared with them. Action was not in every scene, but the action fit within the plot and was not too overdone. The Movie is supposedly based on historical events and fits well within those events of history.

The Movie's Negative side was no less than I expected. Violence is the normal response to Violence in this movie. Violence, However, is not regarded as the best solution, and the main character's struggle with this throughout the film. Blood and gore are regular parts of this movie, including one scene in which a bomb is set off, only the dismembered arm of the victim is shown.

The Movie also has a couple instances of Nudity, and two instances of Sexual Content. However, oddly enough, the nudity is never sexual. In both instances of nudity, it is during the course of an assassination, although there is nothing held back, and both male and female full frontal nudity is shown. The sexual content is surprisingly modest, and nothing inappropriate is "shown", but both scenes portray the main character, "Avner", having sex with his wife.
At various points, the movie was interesting, exciting, and moving, but overall, Munich was not that great of a Movie. and it was defiantly not something to bring the kids too.
